10. I get to spend tons of my time with my Granny. She is now 82 years young. Over the past few years, we have had some close calls with her health. And although I try not to think about it, I know that she may not be with us much longer. Being home means I can spend time with her, learning more about her life and our family history.
9. Hanging out with my Mama and Daddy. As a teenager I thought my parents were total dorks. Now, I see that they are extremely cool people with wonderful personalities. I love spending time with them.... and would do it even if they weren't my parents.
8. I am becoming healthier. Living in a small town means that the pace of life is much slower. This change in pace has decreased my stress level. This reduction in stress has resulted in less junk food in my diet. Also, being back has translated into working out with friends.
7. Making new friends.
6. I can see my nephews every single day. For the majority of their young lives, I have watched my nephews grow up thru pictures. Visits were often weeks apart. I missed many of their first milestones. Now, I get to see all the little changes that happened with them.
5. Reconnecting with old friends.
4. Joining a wonderful Church.
3. Being able to see the stars in the sky at night.
2. Breathing fresh air - not air that smells like smoke and smog.
1. Being in a place where I feel like a truly belong.
