Georgia Tech Football, Week 1 Recap

Last week, my beloved Jackets traveled to South Bend to face the "Fightin' Irish" of Notre Dame. By the end of the game, the scoreboard read 33 to 3, that's right my Jackets won by a 30 point margin. That's the worst loss that Notre Dame has suffered in a home opener....ever....in hundred plus years of football. So that made me happy. Then the polls came out, and the boys in Gold and White were ranked #21 - another smile. But now its time focus on our own home opener.

The Jackets take the field at 1:30 on Saturday against Samford. Look for a game recap next week.

Toe meets Leather

The dog days of summer are behind us, an although the temperatures are still in the upper 90's a new season is on the horizon --- "Football Season".

My beloved Yellow Jackets will be journeying to South Bend this weekend to face the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Due to work constraints, I am unable to make the trip. So I'll be watching the game on the big screen at my apartment -- screaming, singing the fight song, and loving every minute.

Next weekend, I'll be at Bobby Dodd Stadium @ Historic Grant Field to watch the home opener against Samford.
