Salute

Today, I awoke in my own bed, in my own home, in a quite and peaceful neighborhood. I then drove my car to my place of worship, to honor my God, in the way that I saw fit. Afterwards, I enjoyed a nice meal with the companionship of a good friend. And I was able to enjoy all of this thanks to the sacrifices made by soldiers past and present. While I feel that those who serve our country should be honored each day, I will salute those who defend my freedom on this day.

Thank you to each solider, past, present, and future. Your service is appreciated more than words can express.
