The Devil's in the Details

It has been 1 week and 2 days since M popped the question. And in that short time, I've (i mean we've)
1) Picked a date and time
2) Booked a Church for the Ceremony
3) Decided on a reception site
4) Decided on food for the reception
5) Picked a color scheme for the wedding
6) Found flowers that we liked and shown them to the florist
7) Built our budget and are planning accordingly.

The color scheme for the wedding is chocolate brown, ivory/white, and old gold. The old gold is salute to my alma Georgia Tech, the other colors just compliment the gold. Here are my floral ideas

What do you think?

Very pretty. Congratulations on your engagement. One word of advice--keep the wedding simple and reasonable so you don't get all stressed out about it. Focus a goodly amount of effort into designing the type of marriage the two of you want. The wedding is but one day, the marriage needs to last a lifetime! But do enjoy this special time. Being a bride to be is a fabulous time of like--everyone is just soooo nice to you!

I LOVE the first two... personally, I think roses are so boring.
